FTA at the International Agriculture Fair

Farming & Technology for Africa (FTA) will participate in the International Agriculture Fair, taking place from September 10 to 13 at CCI Ivato.

Through the Minimal Irrigation Project (MIP), INFOSOLUTION Dev, its business unit dedicated to digitalization, and the Tsinjorano project, FTA will showcase a range of initiatives and solutions developed or documented to address agricultural and rural development challenges in Madagascar.

Visitors will discover a rural landscape planning model, soil analysis solutions, and around twenty irrigation solutions adopted by Malagasy farmers, documented through the Tsinjorano competition, which promotes the optimal use of water in rural areas.

The event will also provide an opportunity to explore how research, digital technologies, farmer-led innovation and sustainable resource management can be combined to improve agricultural practices and strengthen the capacities of rural stakeholders.
